EarthFrisk.Org

Our office network admin only allows us to browse wikipedia as our only option for the search engine category. But really? I don't find it a comprehensive as EarthFrisk.Org. This is the first Ever Search Engine where the community can create a better search. It's yet to be launch on Monday and I am getting pretty excited about it. According to its preview in the website, ithas the best results from Google, MSN and Yahoo, less spam, and a new ranking system with toolbars for IE and Firefox.

Now that's cool!

Secure Your Wallet

About 3 weeks ago, I experienced a very unfortunate event that lead to a series of trouble. If only I had a wallet lock.

Last December 5, I was set to meet one of my entourage, Joy, to get the measurements of the alterations of her gown. We agreed to just meet in Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf (CBTL) at Gateway Cubao. I know for sure that Starbucks is crowded so it will be much easier for us if we will just meet in CBTL. So there, we met at around 6-7pm and because it's been a while since the last time we saw each other, we got a lot of things to to talk about. We have a lot of things to catch up- so much stories to tell with so little time to spend with. Because a lot of people are walking by in their smokinga rea, we agreed to just opt to the non-smoking area. Less people are in that area. While inside, we placed our two cups of coffee and Joy placed her bag on the table. Since there is no more space on the table, I just placed my bag on the floor. It's been like just 5 minutes ago after placing my bag on the floor when I intuitively chcked for it...Voila, it's all GONE!!! I was speechless for a couple of minutes. I just went back to reality when I realized that I lost a lot of valuables.

3 credit cards
check woth P13,000
cash- P12,000
cosmetic make up set worth P3,000
1 USB flash drive that contains all my necessary back up files of my wedding
my precious UP ID issued on 1999
SSS ID
Nokia Phone

I had to call all my credit and ATM card companies, call my mobile network provider and SSS just to report all the lost items that I had. 0ore importantly, I am afraid of identity theft. In times like tjis, I couldn't help but wish I had a Walletlock. WalletLock is offered to all LifeLock clients at no additional cost providing clients access to Identity Theft Recovery Specialists and the most comprehensive assistance program should they lose a wallet anywhere in the world.

Ahhh I think I am going to be more vigilant when it comes to my belongings.

Call in for free?

I am no amateur when it comes to online dating websites. That's for sure because that's how Russell and I met. I am very much exposed to dating websites that offer free chat facility. But what is new to me is the fact that there is a site that offers chat lines, I mean a member can call in for free or leave voice personals for other to hear when he/she is off the phone. This one could be really fun not only for teen chat but also, to those who are young at heart. My 22-year old brother is a shy-young-but decent guy. I think I am going to recommend him to try this one.

How to Ease Your Financial Burden

I know a friend who is having a hard time as she tries to Consolidate Debt Loans. One is that she got a lot of over limit credit card usage and second, she got a Personal Loan from a leading financial service provider. Although she no longer use her credit card now (and that really ease the difficulty of handling her finances), she still has trouble dealing with her Loan. It's too bad though that here in PI, we don't have any company that cant help somebody consolidate one's debt loans. It could have been much easier for my friend to manage the interest charges as she deals with only one lender. I am helping her how to budget her monthly salary so that she can pay her debts on time.

Pissed Off

I am really pissed off with somebody today. I want to punch his nose so that he could bleed to death. Too bad though that I can't. And that really sucks! I just hope that I can blog everything about my life. Bummer!

Fab Finds

You must have heard of websites offering discount coupons for online purposes. But what you don't know is that there is a e-commerce search website that offers more than 5000 coupons, rebates and free shipping all in one site. It just lessens the hassles of looking for one discounted items to free shipping. Have you heard of webbyplanet? Try visiting this site and see for yourself the convenience of getting coupon codes for for instant online purchases and, occasionally, can download and print coupons for in-store purchases.

Xmas Party This Week End!

Our Christmas party is already set this Sunday. We're gonna have a Circus theme, something which I don't really approve of. Forme, it'skind of corny. I mean, who in the world would wear a costume of a clown or a juggler? Errr... that's just fashion kill don't you think? Though I'm gonna be present on this event, I don't think that I will wear a circus-ssy outfit. It just sucks!

From East to West

We just cancelled our Boracay honeymoon due to the very inefficient and ineffective way of how Cebu Pacific customer service representative deal will their clients. I just don't have the luxury of time and energyto argue with a bunch of inexperience reps so we just decided to cancel our booking. Besides, we haven't book our hotel accomodation and the trip itself so no harm done, really. Having said that, we are now thinking of having our honeymoon in the U.S. Well, that is if I am going to have my US Visa next year. Anyway, I have an aunt who lives in San Diego, California and my Dad is bugging me to visit my aunt there. Russell does not have much idea on what places we can visit as we plan our tour there. As I was browsing the net, I found this:

Signup for the Trusted Travels newsletter, from Trusted Tours and Attractions, and you’re automatically entered to win 4 free tickets to attractions and tours in one of 21 different cities.

This promo actually came from Trusted Tours and Attractions. They offer great tour package for San Diego, Key West and Savannah trips. This is something much better option for our honeymoon. I am just crossing my fingers that I'll have the visa I needed for this trip.

We won!

We just had our meeting about 10 minutes ago. It was great relief that our client was satisfied with how we managed to complete our task for the the Month of November. One of the highlights of the meeting is that when my ever reliable QAA, James sang a Christmas song during our conference call. In turn, we won the noodle party! Great! Our stomach will be filled with a sumptuous meal thsi Friday. Hehehehe!

Cyber Love

I have mentioned before that I met my soon-to-be husband in cyber space. Initially, we didn't hit it off but as time went by, we became more than friends. Didn't I just say that we are getting married this month? I know this may sound unbelievable for some but really, if not through the online dating website where we met, there isn't going to be a wedding this this month. One great website where you can find great single personals is DateHookup.com . While this does not guarantee that you will meet your ideal lifetime partner, it's a great way of meeting new people and gaining friends. So why don't you sign up?!
